I STAMPED TODAY!!!!

It has been so long since I sat down and stamped.. until today!!! I used my "new to me" copic markers to color my images. All other supplies are Stampin' Up!

I'm Still Here!!!!

Well its been awhile since I posted anything so I thought that it was time that I did. Not a whole lot has been going on here. Just the usual. Go to work, come home, go to bed and then start all over again.
Actually my life isn't THAT boring!! Gary & I have been looking at some houses (online and driving by them) and have a few that we'd like to see on the inside but have to wait until Gary is not working to go see. That is if they are still available. We did decide that we are not going to rush into buying one. We are going to make sure that it is really what we want!!
I have been spending some creative time with my friends Vickie and Kee. It is nice to get together to share ideas and learn new things!! Maybe one of these days I'll remember to get the camera out and take pictures.
This week is a busy kind of week for hubby and I. His b-day is tomorrow (5-4) then our 8th anniversary is Saturday (5-9). We are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park where we are going to be staying at the Old Faithful Inn. We hope to see some critters and maybe even some of the spring babies. Brrrrrrr

Well Ole' Man winter is making sure that we don't forget that it is still winter!!! We had a few days of nice weather (in the 50's). The last 3 days it's been snowing a little and very cold .. 8 degrees cold. Good weather to stay indoors.
I hope that everyone had wonderful holidays. I know I did. Gary had to work Christmas but we had a nice dinner and opened our gifts after he got home from work. It was very nice to just be together. We did have a very White Christmas this year too.
Speaking of Gary, he got a promotion of sorts at work. He is now a A operator (he was a B) which means that he has a lot more responsibility. Unfortunately he will still have to work shift work (days and nights). He was/is nervous about it but I think he is starting to get more comfortable in his new position. Very proud of him.
Well that is about all of my news. Hope everyone and families are all doing well.

Happy Holidays

The holidays are upon us!! I LOVE the holidays even though they are a little bittersweet for me. Since moving to Montana almost 8 years ago, I don't always get to spend the holidays with my family since they are in Texas, California and Oregon. But we try to get together with them as much as we can.
We had a winter storm blow in yesterday. Snowed most of the day. Temps dropped to below zero. Today the sun is shining a little bit and the temp is - 17. Can you say BRRRRR!!!! Even though it's bitter cold, I love seeing the snow. It's still looks beautiful to me. From the first snow of the season to the last. One of the perks of living in MT is that I get to experience all four seasons. In TX it's either hot or cold. And the mesquite trees don't change colors. But they sure make food cooked on the grill taste yummy!!!!
